Like how the Greek hoplite has a helm commonly used by Alexander's Pikemen at his feet. Despite the fact that Alex the Great's own forces defeated some of the best Greek warriors (Theban Sacred Band). The picture itself is very well done. Even more so seeing that you had to put it all together piece by piece. Bravo.

the dust at his feet and in front of the shield...taught knobby muscles...the strange calm face behind the mask...very beautiful.

oh this is so cool. what a great moment you captured. the dude in the background looks so cool. Hoplites should always be shown in two since they always fought together, eh? Anyway, here they're "together" but the hoplite in the back is almost too cool to fit in the shot. Very nice effect!
